Liz & Alex’s Wedding at All Saints’ Church in Wellingborough and Irchester Grange House
Liz and Alex picked a great date for their wedding – we should know as it was our 6th wedding anniversary! Their marriage ceremony took place at All Saints’ Church in Wellingborough, then following the ceremony everyone travelled to Liz’s parents’ home, Irchester Grange House, for drinks and canapes on the lawn followed by the reception and evening celebrations in a huge marquee in the grounds.
Liz wore a stunning Suzanne Neville dress which was complimented by not one but two pairs of Jimmy Choos. Liz couldn’t decide which pair she liked best so got both and wore one pair in the day and the other in the evening. Afterall, why have one pair of Jimmy Choos if you can have two!

Some serious bling with Tiffany’s rings.

We don’t see the more traditional top hat and tails as much anymore but, as all the lads were wearing this, we couldn’t resist a hat throwing shot!

Liz and Alex booked a fantastic ‘big band’ style swing band for the evening that made sure the dancefloor stayed full all night.

Sarah & Simon’s Wedding at Thoresby Riding Hall
Sarah and Simon were married and held their reception at Thoresby Riding Hall – www.thoresby.com This venue, north of Nottingham, has recently been licenced for civil marriage ceremonies and Sarah and Simon were only the second couple to be married here. It is a stunning venue ideally suited to weddings as you will see from the photographs below and we hope to work there again in the near future.

Sarah and Simon grew the cacti for their favours over a couple of months in pots all round their home.

Thoresby Riding Hall are in the grounds of the Thoresby Estate which is also home to the Warner hotel Thoresby Hall. We were able to use Thoresby Hall as the backdrop for some of the photos.

The bestman gave an excellent speech and did a very good job of embarrassing the groom!

Suzie & Dan’s Pre-Wedding Shoot in West Bridgford, Nottingham
Although most of our wedding clients book with us 9-18 months before their wedding, Suzie and Dan booked us with only 3 weeks notice for their wedding at Norwood Park. However, we still managed to fit their pre-wedding shoot in a fortnight before the wedding. We headed out for a walk along the disused Nottingham to Grantham canal that runs through the housing estate in Gamston. Some of these photos are actually taken around the back of Morrisons – proof that you don’t need a glamourous venue to get lovely photographs.

Jayne & Chris’ Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot in Redmile in the Vale of Belvoir
We met up with Jayne and Chris towards the end of August on an glorious Indian summer evening for their pre-wedding shoot. Evening sunshine is a photographer’s delight because, as the sun is not so high in the sky, it is a less harsh light (no squinting and less dark shadows) and makes for beautiful photographs. We decided to just head out for a walk with the dog in the field near Jayne and Chris’ house in Redmile.

Lucy & Adam’s Wedding at St. Mark’s Church in Bilton and Fawsley Hall
Lucy & Adam were married at St. Mark’s Church in Bilton, Rugby. Unfortunately the unpredictable British weather came into play and, despite getting married in August, their wedding day was a very rainy day. However, this did make for some fun umbrella photos as Lucy arrived at the church!

After the ceremony everyone headed to Fawsley Hall near Daventry for their reception – www.fawsleyhall.com Here it didn’t matter about the rain as Fawsley Hall has some stunning locations for photographs both inside and out.
