Sarah & Phil’s Wedding at Tissington Hall and Hamps Hall in The Peak District
Sarah and Phil were married at Tissington Hall on a warm and sunny July day. Tissington Hall is a stunning Jacobean Mansion in the heart of the Peak District and is privately owned by the the FitzHerbert family – www.tissingtonhall.co.uk Sir Richard is keen to promote weddings at this gorgeous venue which can cater for up to 350 people in the summer in a marquee on the lawns. The grounds of Tissington Hall are beautifully kept and make a great backdrop for wedding photographs as you will see below.

Sarah has a very unusual and intricate engagement ring and we were curious to see how her wedding ring would fit along side it, but her rose gold wedding ring has been beautifully crafted to fit alongside.

After their ceremony and photographs in the grounds if Tissington Hall, Sarah and Phil actually chose to hold their reception at Hamps Hall and Barn nearby.

Rachael & Jim’s Pre-Wedding Shoot in Bampton, Oxfordshire
After visiting some friends in the area we popped over Bampton to meet up with Rachael and Jim. We started off by visiting their wedding venue, Friar Court, a privately owned 17th century house in Clanfield, Oxfordshire. Then we headed back to Bampton, the village where they live, for their photo shoot. The pale Cotswold stone, which is a feature of so many of the properties in the village, provided a lovely backdrop for many of the photos.
Rachael & Jim were a fun couple to work with:

This photo is a portrait within a portrait – can you spot Rachael in the photo?

To get some good interaction we asked Rachael and Jim to stand shoulder to shoulder and see who could push each other the furthest each was. They both have a real competitive streak so we knew it would make an interesting photo!

Asa & Neil’s Wedding at Odd Road Church and Cranage Hall near Holmes Chapel
Asa and Neil were married at Odd Road Church in Scholar Green and their reception and evening celebrations took place at Cranage Hall in Cranage near Holmes Chapel. We started off the morning at Asa’s parents’ house where the atmosphere was surprisingly calm and everyone was in high spirits.
Asa’s wedding shoes were very striking:

Dressed in full wedding attire, Asa’s dad disappeared into the loft to hunt out a purple wig for the speeches!

After the ceremony we headed to Cranage Hall for the reception – www.principal-hayley.com/venues-and-hotels/cranage-hall We have to give particular mention to the wedding coordinator at Cranage Hall, Danielle Mawdsley, whose professionalism was second to none. The attentiveness of her and the other staff both before and on the wedding day meant that everything ran smoothly and, for us as photographers, it was a delight to work at the venue for the day.

Asa and Neil had an unusual wedding cake made up of lots of mini cheesecakes!
