Liz & Alex’s Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot at The Arboretum in Nottingham
Liz & Alex came to see us in Nottingham for their pre-wedding shoot. They came up from London and made a weekend of it, staying at The Lace Market Hotel: a gorgeous boutique hotel which is a great choice if you want to be right in the heart of things in the city centre. We met up with them on the Sunday; the sun was shining so we headed to Nottingham Arboretum for the photo shoot. The Arboretum was the first designated public park in Nottingham under the Authority of the Enclosure Act of 1845 and is a real ‘green haven’ within walking distance of Nottingham city centre.

Sarah & Simon’s Pre-Wedding Shoot on the Thoresby Park Estate
We met up with Sarah and Simon on a glorious summer’s day for their pre-wedding shoot. They are getting married at a newly licensed venue, Thoresby Riding Hall in the courtyard on the Thoresby Estate. Thoresby Park Estate is also home to the Warner Hotel, Thoresby Hall and we used this as a backdrop for the pre-wedding shoot.

Sarah and Simon were joined by their doberman dog and their head bridesmaid, Kate, for some of the photos.

Alison & Mike’s Wedding at Rolleston Church and Blenheim House Hotel
We first met Alison in 2006 when she was bridemaid for another couple whose wedding we photographed so we were delighted when she got in touch to ask us to photograph her wedding. Alison and Mike were married at Rolleston Church and their reception was held at Blenheim House in Etwall.
Alison and Mike exchanged vows while their son, Asher, at a packet of Ready Salted crisps at their feet!

Their wedding cake accurately depicted everyone in the wedding party right down to the details of everyone’s outfits. It even show Keighlan and Asher playing together in front of the table!

Sharon & Neil’s Wedding at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel near Preston
Sharon and Neil are clearly not a superstitious couple as they scheduled their wedding for Friday 13th at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel in the Ribble Valley near Preston – www.gibbon-bridge.co.uk As it turned out they had no reason to be superstitious as they were rewarded with a glorious, sunny day for their wedding.
Sharon’s wedding ring is very bling!

The Garden Bandstand at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel is a stunning setting for the wedding ceremony. The bandstand is licenced for civil ceremonies and provides couples with the opportunity to get married in a semi-outdoor setting. We know of several venues around the country with a similar set up for ‘almost’ outdoor weddings.
The sun shone down as Sharon and Neil exchanged vows as their guests looked on from the gardens.

What a good looking bunch! – Sharon and Neil with their two children, Imogen and Jayden.

The Gibbon Bridge Hotel has a lovely landscaped garden which is ideal for wedding photographs.

Sharon & Neil are hoping to emigrate to Australia so all the table names at their reception were named after Australian cities.
