Jenny & Ben’s Pre-Wedding Shoot

June 23rd, 2008 | Category: Pre-Wedding Portraits

The weather was not kind to us on the morning of Jenny and Ben’s pre-wedding shoot. The rain showed no sign of easing of so we decided to get some relaxed shots of the two of them inside in Ben’s parents’ homely, country kitchen. But some photos in the garden was too much to resist so we braved the drizzle under the cover of some umbrellas! At least the plants were glad of some rain as everything was looking lush and green.

Kirsty & Steve’s Wedding at Trentham Church and The North Staffs Hotel

June 23rd, 2008 | Category: Weddings

Kirsty and Steve were married at Trentham Church followed by a reception at The North Staffs Hotel. They had a lovely ceremony and are the first couple we have seen who memorised their vows. This made the moment extra special as they were able to look at each other and speak without interruption though worrying about forgetting something must have added to their nerves!

Trentham Church is right next to Trentham Gardens so after the ceremony we headed to the edge of the gardens for some photos of the happy couple.

Then it was off to The North Staffs Hotel for the reception: the speeches happened before the start of the meal and there were some very unusual props used as part of the best man’s speech!

Asa & Neil’s Pre-Wedding shoot near Holmes Chapel, Cheshire

June 22nd, 2008 | Category: Pre-Wedding Portraits

We met up with Asa and Neil on a warm and sunny morning for their pre-wedding shoot. First stop was a visit to their reception venue, Cranage Hall, to check out the plans for the day and meet their lovely wedding co-ordinator, Danielle. Then we popped in to see the church before heading of to take some photos. We had a fun morning, even if the wind did play havoc with Asa’s hair! Not long now till their wedding and we can’t wait!

Sarah & Phil’s Pre-Wedding Shoot at Dovedale in the Peak District

June 09th, 2008 | Category: Pre-Wedding Portraits

It was a beautiful, sunny morning when we met with Sarah and Phil and Sarah to go through the final details before their wedding. The stunning venue, Tissington Hall, is their choice of reception venue so we met them their to be introduced to Sir Richard and shown round the grounds – there is plenty of scope for some stunning photos!

Next we headed to a popular local beauty spot, The Stepping Stones in Dovedale gorge, to capture some photos of Sarah and Phil, however, we hadn’t anticipated that the sun would bring the crowds out in such force so we had to do a bit of people dodging with the photos! The walk down to the river made everyone thirsty so we finished off our meeting with a refreshing drink in the gardens at the Izaac Walton Hotel – the lads were particularly fascinated by the small helicopter parked within the grounds!

Sarah and Phil quickly relaxed in front of the camera… this was the first photo we took and they look fab!

We had to wait 5 minutes for a break in the stream of people over the stepping stones to get this shot!

Sarah and Phil were great fun to photograph and we are really looking forward to photographing their wedding. This photo is of them laughing at me wincing as my feet were turning blue standing in the river to take the photo!
