We were really excited when Jenny got in touch with us to ask about a Trash the Dress shoot, particularly when we found out her husband, Jodie, and his family own a paintballing and quad biking centre! Jenny and Jodie were married in January but Jenny wanted another excuse to wear her dress and have some fun. Wild Park Leisure – www.wildparkleisure.co.uk – provided the perfect location for a Trash The Dress shoot. There are loads of different areas providing different backdrops, from woodlands to scrap cars, tyre heaps and a field of huge spindles and even a area of battle style trenches. As Jenny was actually pregnant when we did the shoot we decided to avoid paintballing but the opportunity to use the quad bikes was too much to resist, particularly with a ford to drive through.

 ’Trash the Dress’ is an area of photography we are keen to do more of, simply because they are such good fun. Shoots can involve just the bride, or the bride and groom, the wedding party, or anyone else you want. The level of ‘trashing’ of the dress is entirely up to you. Some brides just want a collection of shots that are more fashion led and in a different sort of setting to their wedding day but they want to keep their dress intact. Other brides, like Jenny, want to go the whole hog and get really wet and muddy!
